"I never had someone who told me that it was ok to be different...that it was okay to be me. What I did hear was that it would get better once I was out of high school...that things would get better. But from where I sat, I could not possibly believe that to be true. He writes, " So I'm quite honored that GLSEN asked me to help them with their efforts in DC. I guess my 2016 senatorial campaign begins today! ;-) " He also said that the Austrailan office of UNIVERSAL is going to release 'Tried & True', and that they will air the special there. He says ticket sales for the T& T concerts have been sluggish. (A ticket to the concert might be a good Holiday gift for someone you know.) OFC members may LOG IN HERE to read the actual blog. PHOTO HERE 11/18/10 From various sources: Clay may have spoken to the media today. There are two bills pending in Congress that include provisions against bullying in schools (including bullying of LGBT students), the Safe Schools Improvement Act and the Student Non-Discrimination Act. Senator Casey cosponsored the SSIA, a move that was lauded by GLSEN, an organization that Clay supports. This was a GLSEN press conference following congressional meetings on gay bullying. Clay was reportedly at this press conference.

'BOTH SIDES NOW'
Clay surprised the audience at the N.I.P. Gala on Saturday night by singing- for the first time publicly-
'Both Sides Now' originally recorded by Judy Collins.
He introduced Deborah Leisey
who interpreted this beautiful song into American Sign Language (ASL) as Clay sang.
The performance received a standing ovation from the audience.
